Mid-Level Grants Manager Position (5yrs)
The position is contingent upon award.

Qualifications: 5 years’ experience managing grants for USAID
- Bachelor's degree.
- At least five (5) years of experience managing development activities, including contracts and buy-ins.
- Experience creating and managing sub-awards and grants.
- Experience working with USAID-funded contracts and grants, and mastery of USAID regulations and compliance requirements for contracts and grants, required.
Duties:
- The Grants Manager will be responsible for day-to-day oversight and administration of the grant pool.
- The candidate will lead strategizing, learning and process improvement for grant design, competition and award management.
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with USAID standards, policies and procedures, and grants management system use.
- Reports directly to the Chief of Party (COP).
The Contractor Shall: a. Implement the GUC program in accordance with an approved Grants Management Plan (GMP) to include the following, but not limited to:
- Step-by-step approach to implementing the GUC program
- A clear implementation strategy on the provision of technical assistance and support to grantee.
- A strategy to award grants directly to local and regional researchers iv. The Contractor’s approach to attracting local researchers to participate in the competitive grants program.
