Job Summary
The HR Generalist - Benefits Specialist’s primary responsibility is for assisting with the planning and execution of all group benefit programs for Ki Mobility. Essential Functions Job Responsibilities
- Assist Director of Human Resources with the plan design of company health and welfare programs.
- Act as the subject-matter expert of our group benefit programs (health, dental, vision, life & disability, HSA, FSA, 401k).
- Serve as the key point of contact to resolve questions and counsel associates on benefit related issues.
- Educate associates on benefit programs and how to be a smart consumer as it relates to their healthcare choices.
- Continually evaluate the use, services, plan experience, coverage, and effectiveness.
- Support with managing external vendor relationships and all third-party administrators.
- Coordinate daily benefits processing with HR Team. Handle enrollments, claims, COBRA, terminations, life event changes, rollovers, distributions, loans, and hardships.
- Design, develop, and distribute communication tools to enhance an understanding of the company’s benefits package. Collaborate on materials for benefit orientations, open enrollment, and life event changes.
- Assist with the annual open enrollment process to ensure that all associates are aware of and educated on the benefits available to them. Coordinate with vendors and TPA’s on presentations. Facilitate and assist with the electronic enrollment process in the company’s HRIS.
- Collaborate with the HR team to maintain and monitor company HRIS for issues and system updates to benefit configuration, employee profiles and the self-service portal.
- Analyze and report on monthly benefit expenses. Review and reconcile variances on benefit invoices. Record expenses for the finance department.
- Partner with our auditors and HR team to complete the annual 401k audit.
- Compile and submit data for annual benefit reporting such as the VETS-4212, CMS, PCORI, and EEOC.
- Report on monthly HR benefit metrics.
- Review all orders to ensure that they can be produced on the production floor.
- Performs all duties in a manner that follows, demonstrates, and promotes Etac company values and Ki Mobility’s company elements.

- Bachelor’s degree in human resource management or related field, and three to five years of related benefits or employee benefits administration experience.
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP and CEBS professional designations preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Office programs, HRIS and benefits databases.
- Standard working conditions include a temperature-controlled office and manufacturing environment.
