Job Summary
The Associate Product Manager is responsible for assisting in product planning and product marketing. This includes working with Product Managers throughout the product lifecycle, assisting in gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, and defining the product vision. It also includes working with sales, marketing, and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The Associate Product Manager’s job includes ensuring that the product and marketing efforts support the company’s overall strategy and goals.
Essential Functions
Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute product strategies for our complex rehab product lines.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape.
- Assist in defining product requirements, specifications, and features based on market insights and customer feedback.
- Support the development and implementation of strategic marketing plans to promote product awareness and adoption.
- Assist in managing the product lifecycle, including pricing strategies, inventory management, and product discontinuation plans.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory requirements, and advancements in complex rehab wheelchair technology.
- Build relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, suppliers, and distribution partners.
- Support product training and provide ongoing support to internal teams and external customers.
- Assist in the setup of tradeshows and exhibition stands.
- Ensure and follow safety, quality, and other company requirements and standards.
- Keep the work area clean and orderly.
- Perform all duties in a manner that follows, demonstrates, and promotes Company’s values.
- Report to work as scheduled, on time, and able to work entire work schedule.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

- Ability to lift and handle wheelchairs.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for industry conferences and customer meetings.
- Intermediate level skills using computer applications (Word, Excel, enterprise software).
- Basic math proficiency.
- Ability to observe and identify details.
- Ability to work extended hours as scheduled, including weekends.
Physical Demands
- Frequent sitting, wrist manipulation, walking, and standing.
- Frequent bending, pushing, pulling, and twisting.
- Frequent sedentary work with lifting up to 10 pounds.
- Occasional medium work with lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's and/or MBA degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; or a minimum of 2 years’ experience in complex rehab.
Experience

Required:
- Experience and proven ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
- Intermediate level experience with computer applications.

Preferred:
- 2 years’ experience as a Product Manager or Product Marketing Manager.
- Clinical or sales experience or ATP certification.
Working Environment
- Standard working conditions include a temperature-controlled office and manufacturing environment.
- Travel requirements are approximately 5-10%. Travel requirements may fluctuate and may include international travel.
