We are seeking an Email Marketing Intern to support our marketing communications team with key digital content initiatives. This role offers hands-on experience building and analyzing email campaigns using HubSpot, with a focus on responsive drag-and-drop email design, data-driven decision-making, contact management, and content curation. The starting wage for this position is $17.75/hour.
Responsibilities:
- Campaign Development: Assist in the day-to-day planning, creation, design, and scheduling of engaging email campaigns that align with KI, KI Wall, and Pallas Textiles brand voice and marketing objectives.
- List Management: Segment and maintain email lists to effectively target diverse customer market segments, improve audience message personalization, and ensure data accuracy.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze key email metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, and conversions to assess campaign effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Content Optimization: Collaborate with the marketing team to enhance email content and design, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and email best practices for user engagement.
- A/B Testing: Support the execution of A/B tests on various email elements, including subject lines, layouts, and calls-to-action, to drive continuous improvement.
- Design Support: Utilize basic graphic design skills to assist in creating visually appealing email templates and assets that resonate with our audience.
What you Need to Succeed:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- Familiarity with email marketing/automation platforms, preferably HubSpot.
- Basic design skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or Canva.
- Strong attention to detail for data entry and content accuracy.
- Ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and creativity.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Eagerness to work collaboratively within a team and contribute to collective goals.
