Summary
The Regional Sales Intern at Kia America, Inc. (KUS) performs duties as assigned in support of department-specific functions in an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) environment to gain supervised practical experience and develop on-the-job skills. The intern will support KUS’ Eastern Region and begin to learn the complexities of KUS business functions, systems, and process for the delivery of quality vehicles for customer satisfaction.
This internship is a 10-week, full-time opportunity at KUS’ Eastern Region office in Parsippany, New Jersey. The position is hybrid with one remote day per week.
Major Responsibilities
Ability to work in a team environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).

Major Responsibilities
- Provide support to several regional departments to help the Eastern Region achieve departmental goals, including:
- Sales and Marketing:
- Provide support at local marketing and grassroots events.
- Audit regional dealers’ digital presence, including dealer website reviews.
- Review d/b/a and URL names per dealer agreements.
- Assist in development of Dealer Marketing Group (DMG) and additional regional decks as needed.
- Help identify Dealer Sales (SEI) Customer Satisfaction deficiencies.
- Fixed Operations:
- Identify Dealer Service (KSI) Customer Satisfaction deficiencies as well as Parts Sales Opportunities.
- Distribution:
- Track and monitor dealer allocation trends.
- Retail Development:
- Assist Dealer Development Manager in reviewing target dealers for Performance Monitoring (PM) / Dealer Improvement Initiative (DII) initiatives, signage and logo use, etc.
- Provide facility support and updates.
- Additional Regional Items:
- Assist regional staff in developing on-boarding presentation for new dealers (i.e. Dealer Launch Kit).
- Assist in development of a “Why Kia” deck (deck for pitching to non-Kia dealers to explain the Kia brand).
- Any other duties assigned by the supervisor. This list is not exhaustive and may be supplemented and changed, as necessary.
- Enrollment in or graduation from a bachelor’s degree program required.
- Must be available for the full duration of the internship from June 2, 2025 – August 8, 2025.
- Eager to tackle new projects and ideas.
