The Parking & Mobility Manager is responsible for implementing and enhancing established parking and mobility strategies at the Kia Forum, with the goal of ensuring streamlined traffic flow, an exceptional guest experience, and effective day-to-day logistics. Reporting to the Director of Parking & Mobility, this individual will oversee and refine a range of operational frameworks while balancing innovative solutions with proven, longstanding protocols. Although the primary focus is the Kia Forum, the Parking & Mobility Manager will also be cross-trained to provide support at the Intuit Dome and other company venues or projects as business needs arise. Success in this role calls for a steady, decisive leadership style under pressure, a commitment to continuous improvement, and the ability to motivate and guide diverse teams. Flexible scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, is required.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Director of Parking & Mobility to plan, implement, and refine on-site parking and mobility operations at the Kia Forum.
  • Manage day-to-day and event-specific parking/traffic logistics, including staffing assignments, technology deployment, and real-time decision-making.
  • Execute long-established parking and mobility frameworks, identifying opportunities to elevate and streamline operations.
  • Continuously monitor best practices, integrating new approaches that enhance both efficiency and the guest experience.
  • Oversee and optimize the use of parking technology platforms, Variable Message Boards, and other traffic-management tools.
  • Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained, updated, and leveraged to enhance operational outcomes.
  • Receive cross-training for operations at the Intuit Dome and other company venues; provide additional support as necessary.
  • Collaborate with local/state agencies, partnering venues, and third-party vendors to maintain consistent standards and manage traffic flow effectively.
  • Assist in managing contracts with third-party service providers, including performance auditing, compliance monitoring, and issue resolution.
  • Foster positive vendor relationships, emphasizing reliability and service quality.
  • Contribute to departmental budgeting efforts, verifying accuracy of revenue/expense reports from vendors.
  • Align daily operations with cost-effectiveness and revenue-generation objectives.
  • Administer staff parking programs and assist in designing and delivering training sessions.
  • Provide guidance, leadership, and mentorship to team members, cultivating a collaborative, high-performance environment.
  • Address customer inquiries or concerns related to parking and mobility swiftly and professionally.
  • Maintain a solution-oriented mindset to support positive guest interactions.
  • Conduct regular inspections of parking areas, coordinating any needed repairs or maintenance to preserve safety and efficiency.
  • Remain open and adaptable, embracing additional responsibilities or urgent tasks during peak or emergent scenarios.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of five (5) years of progressive leadership experience in event parking, transportation, or mobility solutions within a large venue setting.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience in a related field.
  • Proficiency in online parking platforms, traffic-management technology, and the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams).
  • Familiarity with parking accounting principles and proven aptitude in managing third-party vendors.
  • Demonstrated understanding of vehicle-flow principles, including hands-on experience with Variable Message Boards or similar equipment.
  • Track record of maintaining composure and making swift, informed decisions in fast-paced or high-pressure settings.
  • Proven ability to work with diverse teams, governmental agencies, and partner venues to achieve operational excellence.
  • Effective leadership capabilities, including conflict resolution, clear communication, and team motivation.
  • High level of integrity and discretion; able to safeguard sensitive information.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple priorities concurrently.
  • Self-directed approach, thriving in both independent and team-oriented environments.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule that may include nights, weekends, and holidays.

Compensation

  • The range for this position is $80,000 - $90,000 annual compensation. Compensation package offered will be based on multiple individualized factors, including a candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
  • The role is classified as exempt.
