Responsibilities
- Perform routine oil changes and fluid checks on various types of vehicles.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete maintenance tasks effectively.
- Align vehicle components as needed to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist in diagnosing basic automotive issues and recommend necessary repairs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle's needs.
- Collaborate with service technicians and mechanics to support overall shop operations.
- Lift heavy equipment and parts as required during maintenance procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in automotive repair or as a service technician is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools commonly used in the automotive industry.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety guidelines.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with customers.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed during maintenance tasks.
