Job Summary: The Service Advisor serves as a pivotal connection between our customers and the rest of service department. In this role, you will ensure that each customer receives exceptional assistance throughout the maintenance and repair process. Through clear communication, accurate service coordination, and unwavering dedication to customer satisfaction, you will uphold Kia of Bradley’s commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Interaction: Greet customers warmly, assess their needs, and guide them through the service process with professionalism and courtesy.
- Service Coordination: Clearly communicate vehicle issues, maintenance recommendations, and repair options to customers, acting as their advocate throughout the service experience.
- Scheduling & Follow-Up: Schedule service appointments and keep customers informed of progress, ensuring a seamless experience from start to finish.
- Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with vehicle systems, service procedures, and warranty policies to provide accurate and informed advice to customers.
- Documentation: Prepare detailed service orders, estimates, and repair authorizations while maintaining meticulous records of all interactions.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with technicians, parts staff, and management to coordinate services and ensure timely delivery of vehicles.
- Customer Retention: Build lasting relationships with customers, promoting loyalty to Kia of Bradley through an exceptional service experience.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in an automotive service advisor or similar customer-facing role is preferred, but will train the right candidate!
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-first mindset.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of automotive systems and repair processes is an asset.
- Proficiency in using dealership management software or willingness to learn.
- Valid driver's license is required; additional certifications or training in automotive services are a plus.
