What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full -Time Shuttle Driver / Service Porter position at Kia of Duluth?
Kia of Duluth is seeking a Full-time Shuttle Driver / Service Porter to drive customer vehicles in to be serviced to and from the lot, and occasionally pick up vehicles from customer's homes and/or offices. Service Porters are expected to have exceptional customer service and a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
- Drive customers to their homes or places of business and pick them up after their vehicle is repaired
- Use good judgment and safe driving skills while keeping a timely shuttle route
- Assist passengers with getting in and out of vehicles safely, as necessary
- Utilize Xtime software to know when a customer is requesting a ride
- Notify Service Dispatcher or Service Manager of any servicing/maintenance needs your assigned shuttle may have
- Maintain a professional appearance
- Perform other duties as assigned, such as various errands on behalf of the dealership
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have a Driver's License with a clean driving record in accordance with Kia of Duluth's insurance policy
- High comfort level of operating vehicles and transporting passengers throughout the Duluth/Superior area
- Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively and professional communication with diverse groups of individuals
- Availability to work evenings and Saturdays as scheduled
