Responsibilities – Service Advisor :

Schedule appointments for service / maintenance / recall work

Greet customers and inspect their vehicles.

Advise customers about necessary / suggested services.

Offer additional services, products, and special promotions.

Follow the status of the customer's vehicle from service bay entry through completion of work.

Keep customers informed of any changes that occur.

Upon completion of work, review work order with customer to assure all concerns are addressed.

Organize and control the flow of service work through the service department in a professional, timely manner

Work closely with the Service Manager daily to ensure processes are being followed by the team to maximize shop flow and profitability

Implement and maintain an effective dispatch system

Maintain an organized and up-to-date repair log

Provide a completely satisfied customer experience

Qualifications – Service Advisor :

2 years of Service Advisor / Dispatcher experience is required.

KIA experience preferred

General knowledge of vehicle mechanical operations required.

CDK and XTime experience preferred.

Must be able to run dispatch at high-volume service department

Must be able to coordinate with Shop Foreman

Good customer service and communication skills

Works well in a challenging environment

Professional appearance and a positive attitude

Excellent work ethic and computer skills

Valid driver's license and safe driving record
