Role Overview:
As a Service Coordinator at Kia of West Chester, you will play a pivotal role in managing customer interactions and supporting our service operations. Your primary responsibilities will involve welcoming customers, coordinating service appointments, processing payments, and maintaining accurate records of daily transactions. You will collaborate closely with service advisors and technicians to ensure timely updates to customers and efficient workflow within the service department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Interaction: Greet and assist customers with a warm, professional demeanor, creating a welcoming atmosphere in the service department.
- Appointment Scheduling: Manage inquiries, schedule service appointments, and coordinate ongoing work with service advisors and technicians to ensure efficient service.
- Customer Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for service customers, effectively communicating service updates, estimated completion times, and addressing any questions or requests.
- Product & Service Knowledge: Stay informed on Kia’s latest products, services, and promotions to confidently share information with customers.
- Complaint Resolution: Address customer concerns with empathy and professionalism, escalating unresolved issues to the appropriate personnel as necessary.
- Payment & Cash Management: Process payments accurately, issue receipts, and reconcile the cash drawer daily, ensuring accuracy in cash handling and transaction documentation.
- Administrative Duties: Complete essential administrative tasks promptly, including updating service records, managing the daily cash reconciliation, and stocking new vehicles for Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) preparation.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional administrative or customer service training preferred.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the automotive or retail industry.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with scheduling or CRM software is an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle cash accurately.

Schedule: Full-time, including some Saturdays. Flexibility to adjust hours as needed.
