Our team is looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Automotive Parts Counter Associate to join our growing company.
Job Description: As an Automotive Parts Counter Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service by assisting customers with selecting and purchasing the right automotive parts. You will also support inventory management and contribute to the smooth operation of the parts department. Schedule Tuesday through Friday 9AM-6PM. Saturday 8AM-4PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assist with identifying automotive parts based on their needs.
- Accurately process customer orders and transactions.
- Maintain and update inventory records, ensuring accurate stock levels.
- Provide product knowledge and recommendations to customers.
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding parts availability and pricing.
- Process returns and exchanges as needed.
- Ensure the parts counter is organized, clean, and well-stocked.
- Assist in the shipment and receipt of parts and supplies.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure timely delivery of parts to customers.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Previous experience in automotive parts sales or counter work (3 years) is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts, tools, and accessories.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
