Key Responsibilities:
- Craft Exceptional Cocktails: Prepare and serve high-quality cocktails, wines, and beverages that meet the standards of a five-star luxury resort, ensuring consistency and excellence in every drink.
- Guest Experience: Provide impeccable service to guests, including personalized recommendations and creating memorable experiences through superior hospitality.
- Luxury Service Standards: Maintain the highest level of professionalism, courtesy, and hospitality at all times. Uphold Kiawah Island Golf Resort’s reputation for elegance and luxury.
- Bar Management: Maintain an organized and clean bar environment, ensuring all supplies are stocked and all equipment is in working order. Handle cash and process transactions accurately.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the food and beverage team to ensure seamless service delivery and exceptional guest satisfaction.
- Knowledge & Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in mixology and beverage offerings, continually enhancing your skills and contributing creative ideas to our menu.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and legal regulations, including alcohol service standards and sanitation procedures.
- Previous bartending experience in a fine dining or luxury hotel/resort environment is highly preferred.
- Exceptional knowledge of cocktails, wine, spirits, and other beverages.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for delivering outstanding guest service.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a calm and polished demeanor.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Knowledge of resort-style service and the ability to anticipate and meet guest needs in a luxury setting.
- Certification in responsible alcohol service (TIPS or equivalent) is preferred.
