Position Overview:
This design assistant position will work closely with lead designers to execute residential design project work. We are looking for an organized and detailed individual who will be responsible for new and current project scheduling, furniture specification and quotes, customer service and general coordination. This is an entry level position with our team on a path to a position as a lead designer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support a team of designers to manage multiple projects at various phases
- Provide contact and calendar management in Google Calendar
- Maintain client communications and project notes
- Prepare quotes for furniture, fixtures, and equipment as directed by designers
- Coordinate/schedule subcontractors for fabrication and installation
- Coordinate/schedule client deliveries
- Assist in tracking and billing of the design team’s billable hours
- Maintain client and studio reservations/inventory
- Maintain large sample library including catalogs, pricelists, finishes, and fabrics
- Prepare computer aided drawings and presentations
- Other duties as assigned

Experience Requirements:
- 3 years relevant work experience using the above skills preferred
- Associate or Bachelor Degree in design or related field preferred
- An interest and passion in interior design is a must
- CAD/Drafting skills is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
