The space is beautifully themed as a Canadian Lodge and acts not only as an axe-throwing venue, but as a Bar and lounge that is perfect for hanging out, parties, and corporate events. Located in Philadelphia, Kick Axe Throwing® is a gathering place for friends family, and co-workers to experience Indoor Axe Throwing & Live Music paired with delicious food and beverage.

You are enthusiastic, energetic, and outgoing. You can get a crowd excited. You are a team player. You have high standards. You are the face of a new one-of-a-kind experiential concept. You will facilitate memorable live-action axe-throwing experiences for guests. Your goal is to increase customer satisfaction and efficiency. You are detail-oriented and dedicated to FUN! You are the reason our guests return again and again.
No axe-throwing experience is required! We will provide all the techniques and knowledge you need.
Essential Functions:
- Captivate guests by providing an enthusiastic experience
- Uphold safety protocols to ensure staff and guests’ continued safety
- Fully and safely teach experiences to all guests
- Oversee the matches and games between guests and keep score
- Quality control of facilities, ranges, and equipment
- Serve food & beverages to guests
- Venue cleaning and janitorial duties as assigned
Candidate Qualifications:
- Explosive Personality
- Hospitality/Performance/Coaching experience required
- Must be 18 years old to serve alcohol; 21 to work at the bar
- Exemplary customer service instincts
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, required
- Troubleshooting ability
- Ability to command and maintain the attention of large groups of people
- Must be available on weeknights and weekends
Physical Requirements:
- Must stand for the entirety of shift
- Must be able to lift at least 30 pounds
- Must have a full range of motion of arms and hands to reach, grasp, and place
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
- Part-Time - FLEXIBILITY with scheduling days/hours a plus
- Must have weekend and late-night availability
- Required to have at least 3 days of availability, with 2 of the days falling between Friday and Sunday
Salary : $13 - $22
