What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mental Health Clinician position at Kick Start Therapy Network?
Kick Start Pediatric Therapy Network is seeking a full time clinician to join our team of experienced pediatric specialists at our Wilmette location. We are a multi-disciplinary practice that provides developmental therapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy, counseling/social work services and therapeutic preschool programming.
This position is in a clinical setting and includes individual treatment, treatment in our therapeutic preschool program, assessments, team meetings, community-based services, and case coordination for parents. Ideal candidates should be interested in developing their skills in relationship and play based practice as well as in using a holistic approach to address client's needs. We provide extensive training, mentorship, and supervision for all therapists, regardless of experience level.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy, counseling services, and psychosocial assessments to pediatric patients and their families.
- Work closely in connecting families with services to meet their needs.
- Maintains a caseload of therapy groups, individual therapy sessions and daily case management tasks.
- Participates in on-going collaboration with the client's multidisciplinary team and family including emails, phone calls and in person discussions.
- Establishes and maintains relationships with clients and families by providing parent education, home programs, school support and parent support as needed.
- Completes daily treatment notes as well as updates goals and other documentation as needed within required time frame.
- Actively participates in monthly staff meetings, department meetings and as needed team meetings.
- Follows all company policies and procedures.
- Focuses on continuing education and collaboration to provide children and families with the best practice and best care.

Requirements:
· Applicants should have active licensure to practice in Illinois (LCSW, LCPC, LSW)
- Masters degree required
