Cheese Sales Position

Fantastic summer gig selling cheese at local farmers' markets! Pay is a minimum of $17 per hour. The farmers' market season runs from June through October 31st. Looking for people who enjoy working independently, talking with people, love great cheese, and are very dependable (we have to be there every week).

A typical day involves going to our shop (Green Bay), loading the van with cheese & market supplies, going to the market, setting up shop and selling cheese, driving back to the shop, and unloading. A typical day is about 8 hours long, depending on market duration and drive time. Some heavy lifting is involved. (Cheese is heavy!)

Saturday positions are needed, but there are a few Wednesday and Thursday positions available too. If you're interested, tell us a little about your background and interests. It's a fun, fast-paced side hustle and great for someone looking for something outdoors on the weekends.

$17 hourly min based hourly plus commission

• Load cheese & gear in the vehicle
• Maintain and record the temperatures of the product
• Keep knives and cutting boards clean using a wash station
• Cut and sell cheese to the townsfolk
• Take money/ give change
• Unload back at the shop
• Count till the end of the day

• Sales experience would be great, but not necessary
• Gotta love cheese!
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Ability to lift 35 lbs is a must
• Must be dependable and available. We have to be there every week.
• Having your own vehicle is a plus, but not necessary
• Experience in the food industry would be a positive

Kickaas Cheese is a very small, independent cheese company located in Green Bay. For the last 10 years, our cheesemaker, Dan Posselt, has rented time at different factories to make small-batch cheese, and we sell exclusively at farmers' markets. Our cave or aging facility is based in Green Bay.
