Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage the seating chart and reservations to optimize table turnover.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen and wait staff to coordinate guest seating and service.
- Assist guests with inquiries about the menu, specials, and restaurant policies.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area.
- Handle phone calls with professionalism, providing information about the restaurant and taking reservations.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance the overall guest experience.
Skills
- Strong hospitality skills with a genuine desire to help others.
- Excellent communication abilities to interact effectively with guests and staff.
- Previous experience in food service or customer service is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems
