Job Summary :
Responsible for the successful daily operation of the Restaurant. Key responsibilities of the position include staff training and service techniques and comprehensive experience in restaurant leadership.
Essential Functions :
- Ensure compliance with the applicable Tribal, Federal and other laws and gaming regulations and Kickapoo Lucky Eagle policies and procedures.
- Ensure the highest possible standards of guest services by properly listening and responding to guest and team member concerns and questions.
- Supervises day to day activities; provides training, planning, assigning, and directing work; interview and hire; appraise performance, reward and issue corrective action for team members; correct and approve scheduled time, schedule time off and oversee the shift selection process; and addresses complaints and resolve problems. Adhere to franchise agreement and Policy & Procedure.
- Assist Cashiers, Dining Room Attendants, Culinary Team and Hosts in exceeding the expectation of our dining guests.
- Responsible for team members scheduling, evaluations, PTO processing and daily floor rotation assignments.
- Ensure all opening, closing and running side work is completed on a daily basis.
- Work quickly and independently to resolve operational and / or guest issues when necessary, ensuring proper follow through and excellence in creating a memorable experience for the restaurant guest.
- Provide leadership to restaurant service team through frequent training on service, wines presentation and education on restaurant beverage menus. Work with individual service team members on service performance, techniques for improvement and provides measures to exceed restaurant expectations.
- Develop and implement cost saving and profit enhancing measures.
- Evaluate steps of service procedure, reviewing standards, identifying methods for increasing efficiency or effectiveness and responding proactively to challenges that arise.
- Ensure that wine and liquor inventory par levels are maintained by calculating inventory, reviewing sales data and places orders accordingly.
- Maintain a visible presence on the floor interacting with guests and ensuring their dining experience meet the expectation.
- Provide guest recommendations to guests on food and beverage selections.
- Communicate pertinent information to team members by conducting monthly departmental meetings, organizing and directing pre-shift meetings on a consistent basis.
- Communicate effectively, giving direction, support, timely feedback and recognition of performance.
- Work with the Director of Food and Beverage, Beverage Manager, Executive Chef and Sous Chefs with suggestions for menu changes.
- Conduct a weekly walk through of dining room and kitchen area to ensure sanitation, cleanliness and that equipment is operational an functioning as designed.
- Demonstrate and promote KLECH core values and MAD skills
- Manage and maintain security of confidential information entrusted to position.
- Attend and satisfactorily complete all required training as assigned.
- Monitor compliance with Federal currency transaction reporting requirements, Title 31 requirements and IRS Currency Transaction Reports and property established Anti-Money Laundering policies. Maintain accurate MTL, MIL, CTR and SAR as needed.
