Bakery Team Member

At Kickhaws Gluten-free Bakery we serve up joy, wonder and nostalgia all wrapped up in a top 9 allergen free and vegan package! Unlike most bakeries, our customers are looking for all the tastiest treats they remember growing up, but have sensitivities, health issues or moral concerns that lead them to our door. Each team member at Kickshaws isn’t just an employee but a confidant to our customers in their journey to deliciousness.

As a team member at Kickshaws, you will help us keep the sweets coming, customers happy and team flowing seamlessly.

Job Duties:

• Supply stocking and re-ordering
• Ensuring store cleanliness
• Ensuring production of cakes and cookies and other desserts, scaling, mixing, and handling.
• Proofing, and baking of all cake, breads, doughs, and rolls etc.
• Ability to operating large-scale and specialty bakery equipment.
• General cleaning of bakery equipment.
• Interacting with the Health Inspector to ensure all sanitation guidelines are being followed.
• And contributing to the success of the bakery as an active member of the team while performing other duties as needed in support of the department’s mission.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• High school diploma required
• 1 year baking experience
• 2 years in customer service industry
• Valid driver's license
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends
• Food Safety: Serve Safe certified a plus
