Early Childhood Educator

We are seeking a dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with young children and creating a nurturing learning environment.

Qualifications
- Experience in working with children
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
- Knowledge of childhood development principles
- Previous experience in childcare or education settings is preferred

Early childhood educators have many responsibilities, including:

• Safety: Ensuring the safety of children and maintaining a safe and comfortable environment. This includes inspecting the environment for safety hazards and removing or repairing any items that could be a threat to children.
• Communication: Communicating with parents and other stakeholders in a child's education. This includes providing regular updates on a child's progress and addressing any concerns.
• Teaching: Teaching children basic skills such as identifying colors, shapes, numbers, and letters. This can be done in groups or one on one, depending on the needs of the children and the subject matter.
• Learning environment: Preparing the learning environment by ensuring that the necessary materials are available.
• Program adaptation: Adapting the program to suit the needs of the individual child or group.
• Social and emotional growth: Ensuring the social and emotional growth of the child.
• Physical needs: Addressing the physical needs of the individual child or group.
• Reporting: Composing detailed reports for parents

Salary: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
