What are the responsibilities and job description for the After School Nanny for Two Children position at Kid Care?
A bit about us:
We are an Indian family of 4, Mom- a working professional, Dad, a physician, a 12-year-old boy who loves sports and video games and a six-year-old girl who loves sports and all things girly. We are active and easygoing, we don’t get a lot of time altogether, but when we do, we love to travel, go out to eat and play games. The kids are very social and love to hang out with their friends and meet new people. We have had nannies in the past and are looking for our next great caregiver to assist us this school year!
A bit about you:
You are capable and responsible. Our past nannies have been able to take the initiative on planning things to do with the kids as well as seeing what needs to be done and working to get it completed. You are kind and engaging. Our kids respond really well to someone who takes the time to get to know them and engage with them in the things that they like. We need someone who is reliable and can show up to work every day ready to go! Ideally, you have 4-5 years past experience with children under the age of 10.
Job Duties:
The day starts in the school pick-up line at their school in Hopkins, where you will likely have to be there by no later than 3 pm. The kids are off at 3:15 pm and you will then take them from school to our home in New Brighton. From there you can help them get a snack and work on any homework that needs to be completed. Then you may assist with transporting one of the children to an activity, or running an errand or just hanging out and prepping dinner for the kids until Mom and/or Dad comes home for the day. You will need to use your own car and mileage will be reimbursed.
