What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-time Caring Infant Nanny position at Kid Care?
A bit about us: We’re new parents to a beautiful baby boy and currently live in Hopkins after moving from Chicago this year to be closer to family. Mom, originally from Nebraska, works in healthcare, while Dad, a Minnesota native, works for the family business. When we're not working, we love spending time together and with family, exploring new restaurants, traveling, and enjoying the great outdoors. We're looking for an amazing nanny to join our family and be a part of our lives for years to come!
A bit about you: You’re an infant expert, with over two years of experience caring for babies! As new parents, we’re still learning, and we would love your guidance and support along the way. You're organized and can keep our baby's daily schedule on track, while also updating us on important details like feedings, diaper changes, and naps. Dependable and trustworthy, we can always count on you to be punctual and present. You’ve also recently completed in-person CPR and First Aid certification for infants, which is a huge plus. Since we're mindful about strong fragrances around the baby, we ask that you share this approach too.
Job Duties: For the first few months, the routine will focus on feeding, diaper changes, naps, and tidying up during nap time. This will include household managerial duties, family laundry and helping with meal-prep. We’re looking for a team player. As our baby boy gets older, and nap times become less frequent, this time will be spent primarily with him. Your duties will then shift to primarily one-on-one time engaging and playing with him as a toddler. We are looking for someone to grow with the family and his needs will change. We'd love for you to be familiar with developmental milestones during the first year, helping him reach each new stage!
