About Us:
We are a fun-loving, active family of six searching for an energetic summer nanny to care for our three youngest children (ages 13, 11, and 9). Our oldest (16) is independent and has her own transportation, so your focus will be on keeping the younger three engaged, active, and having fun.
As a sporty, outdoorsy family, we love spending time at the Mercer Island Beach Club, biking, swimming, and exploring nature. We’re looking for a nanny who shares our enthusiasm for outdoor adventures and can help create a summer full of exciting experiences!
About You:
You are an athletic, energetic, and patient caregiver who thrives in an active and dynamic environment. Whether it's playing sports, biking, swimming, or exploring parks, you love being outdoors and on the move. You’re also a responsible and safety-conscious driver, comfortable navigating schedules while keeping the kids engaged and entertained.
Beyond outdoor fun, you enjoy connecting with kids, whether through meaningful conversations during car rides or hands-on activities like arts, crafts, and sports. You’re organized, communicative, and flexible, ensuring the children have a fun and structured summer.
Your Role:
- Plan and lead outdoor activities, including trips to local parks, bike rides, the pool, and the beach.
- Spend time with the kids at Mercer Island Beach Club, keeping them active and engaged.
- Minimize off-island driving, but transport children when needed (mileage reimbursed).
- Prepare light lunches and snacks for the kids.
- Foster a positive, fun, and adventurous atmosphere while prioritizing safety.
Position Details:
Location: Mercer Island, WA (98040)
Start Date: June 13, 2025
End Date: August 29, 2025
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM (40 hours/week)
Pay: $35-$40 per hour

What We’re Looking For:
1 year of childcare experience with glowing references.
Safe, reliable vehicle to transport children (mileage reimbursed at IRS rate).
Clean driving record and responsible driving habits.
Active, energetic personality to match our kids’ enthusiasm.

Do you have skills in art, music, or sports? Our kids would love to learn from you!
Lifeguard or water safety experience is a plus!
Passion for biking, outdoor play, and adventure.
