Position Overview:
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Infant Teacher to join our team. In this role, you will care for and engage with infants (ages 6 weeks to 12 months), helping them develop essential skills through creative activities, structured routines, and individualized attention. The ideal candidate will be patient, caring, and passionate about early childhood education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe, loving, and nurturing environment for infants at all times
- Support infant developmental milestones through age-appropriate activities
- Communicate regularly with parents about child progress and needs
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
- Observe and assess children’s development and share insights with parents and the team
- Assist in daily routines such as feeding, napping, diapering, and potty training as needed
- Foster a positive relationship with children, families, and coworkers
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma (required); Associate’s Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with infants in a childcare or preschool setting
- CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with young children
- Knowledge of early childhood development and best practices for infant care
- CDA preferred
