Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards and cater to the diverse needs of students.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians regarding their development.
- Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging their social skills through group activities and play.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to support child welfare initiatives and early intervention strategies.
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress, challenges, and successes.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Experience working with young children in a preschool or daycare setting is essential; private school experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of Montessori methods or other early childhood education philosophies is desirable.
- Strong understanding of child development principles and early intervention techniques.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- A nurturing attitude towards children, demonstrating patience, empathy, and enthusiasm for teaching.
- Certification in CPR/First Aid is preferred but not mandatory.
