Job Summary
The Kid City USA Floater plays a vital role in ensuring a smooth and engaging experience for children and their families within our facility. This position requires flexibility and adaptability as the Floater will assist in various areas, providing support to staff and engaging with children in activities. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, be able to communicate effectively, and have a passion for working with children.

Duties

• Assist in supervising children during activities, ensuring safety and engagement.
• Support various departments as needed, including classrooms and play areas.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment for children to play and learn.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child’s experience.
• Assist with product demonstrations and upselling of Kid City USA merchandise.
• Utilize basic math skills for inventory management and stock replenishment.
• Provide excellent customer service to enhance the overall experience of families.
• Collaborate with team members to create a positive atmosphere for both children and parents.

Experience

• Previous experience in a retail or grocery store environment is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
• Experience in customer service roles, particularly in settings involving children, is highly desirable.

• Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with both children and parents effectively.
