Position Summary:
Kid Gloves Moving and Storage is seeking a personable and organized Front Desk Coordinator to join our team in Elmwood, Louisiana. As the first point of contact for our customers and vendors, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming environment and ensuring efficient operations at our front desk. Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Interaction: Greet customers and vendors warmly upon arrival and provide assistance as needed.
- Phone Management: Answer incoming phone calls courteously, address inquiries, and route calls to appropriate staff members.
- Scheduling: Organize and manage the interstate delivery trip schedule to streamline operations and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Administrative Support: Assist office management with various administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and maintaining office supplies.
- Documentation: Prepare and manage customer documentation, ensuring accuracy and timely record-keeping.
- Additional Duties: Perform other miscellaneous tasks as assigned by management to support overall operations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a customer service or administrative role, preferably in a moving and storage environment or similar industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general office equipment.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in office management or related fields are a plus.
