Summary
Seeking Program Leaders and Aides in King George, VA - Full Time. Looking for experienced and enthusiastic professionals to join our team. Ideal candidates will aspire to help young minds grow in a nurturing environment. The hired teachers will create and implement lessons and activities that are developmentally appropriate for the age group they are working with. We are a small, family-centered business. Our main priority is to provide a safe, educational environment that promotes a love of learning in an exceptional atmosphere.
Duties
- Develop positive relationships with children, parents and coworkers
- Follow direction from administration
- Communicate via Brightwheel APP.
- Be able to clean and sanitize appropriately.
- Be a Team Player
- Maintain Professional Appearance
- Maintain Organized, well-kept classroom that is decorated and encourages children to learn.
- Follow a set daily schedule for the children.
- Models positive behaviors and praise to children.
- Accepts responsibility to help keep common areas and playgrounds safe and clean.
- Attends all mandatory Staff meetings and events.
- Assists in other capacities as deemed necessary by Director
- Plays with the children and implements fun learning techniques to include singing, dancing, crafts, etc.
- Have an understanding of the socioemotional needs of young children.
- Instill confidence in children.
- Be Reliable
- Be willing and able to implement Streamin3's Lessons
Requirements
Nice To Haves
The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude and a love of working with children. CDA or college degree are advantages.
