Full Time Assistant Teacher for 2 year old's

$15 per hour! Kid's Crossing is hiring for a full time assistant teacher in our 2 year old classroom, working 8:00-5:00pm Monday - Friday. You will be working alongside several other teachers interacting with the kids, helping with meals, changing diapers, potty training, helping with naps, participating in circle time, etc. You will receive lots of cuddles and unconditional hugs from our little ones.

• Full Time Position (40) hours per week
• Toddler classroom (ages 24-36 months)
• March 2025 Start Date

• Hours 8:00-5:00pm Monday-Friday

Responsibilities of Assistant Teacher

• Provide quality care to children
• Help lead teacher in implementing classroom curriculum
• Supervise and participate in children's daily activities
• Assist in providing meals, diaper changes, potty training, naps, and necessary care for toddlers
• Greet parents and children in a warm, inviting manner
• Console children, treat basic injuries, work closely with lead teacher
• Assist in regular communication with parents and staff

Skills/Knowledge

• Teachers must be reliable, mature, show respect to children and coworkers, and be excited to work with families
• Have a basic understanding of children's growth and development throughout the toddler stages

Applicant Requirements

• 18 years of age or older
• Have previous childcare experience (preferred)
• Have reliable transportation
• Be able to pass a child abuse/neglect screening
• Have no felony convictions
• Willing to complete state required background checks
• Show proof of or are willing to complete CPR certification
