What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full Time Summer Elementary Teacher position at Kid's Crossing Daycare?
$17.00 per hour! Kid's Crossing is hiring a full time Lead Elementary teacher, working 9:00am-6:00pm Monday - Friday. You will be following the elementary schedule and plan activities for the children. You will also be responsible for closing out the part time side of the center with training provided.

Responsibilities of Lead Teacher
- Provide quality care to children
- Lead classroom curriculum
- Supervise and participate in children's daily activities
- Greet parents and children in a warm, inviting manner
- Console children, treat basic injuries, work closely with part time staff
- Assist in regular communication with parents and staff
- Drive daycare van daily for field trips
Skills/Knowledge
- Teachers must be reliable, mature, show respect to children and coworkers, and be excited to work with families
- Have a basic understanding of elementary children's growth and development
Applicant Requirements
- 21 years of age or older
- Have reliable transportation
- Be able to pass a child abuse/neglect screening
- Have no felony convictions
- Willing to complete state required background checks
- Show proof of or are willing to complete CPR certification
