As a Mobile Infant Teacher, you will work alongside 2-3 other teachers to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere where mobile infants can thrive and develop their cognitive, social, and emotional skills. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily routines such as feeding, diaper changing, and nap time, as well as engaging mobile infants in age-appropriate activities that promote their overall development.
The ideal candidate for this position will have a genuine love for working with infants and mobile infants and a strong understanding of child development. Previous experience working with infants in a childcare setting is preferred. Mobile infant Teachers at Kid's Crossing must also possess excellent communication skills, patience, and a positive attitude towards learning and growth.

Hours/Job Info
- Full Time Position 30-40 hours per week
- Infant Assistant Teacher
- Start Date - March, 2025
- Available PTO, yearly bonus, holiday pay, available health insurance and benefits, 75% off discount on childcare, no nights, no weekends
- Hours vary between 9:00pm-6:00pm Monday-Friday
Responsibilities of Assistant Teacher
- Provide quality care to children
- Supervise and participate in children's daily activities
- Assist in bottle feedings, diaper changes, naps, and necessary care for infants
- Greet parents and children in a warm, inviting manner
- Console children, treat basic injuries, work closely with lead teacher
- Assist in regular communication with parents and staff
Skills/Knowledge
- Teachers must be reliable, mature, show respect to children and coworkers, and be excited to work with families
- Have a basic understanding of children's growth and development throughout the mobile infant stages
Applicant Requirements
- 18 years of age or older
- Have previous childcare experience (preferred)
- Have reliable transportation
- Be able to pass a child abuse/neglect screening
- Have no felony convictions
- Willing to complete state required background checks
- Show proof of or are willing to complete CPR certification
- Be available to work all year
