After School Art Teacher

Come get messy with us and have a blast at work!! We are now hiring for part-time teachers to teach art classes in our studio on-the-go with different school districts in the San Antonio and Schertz area, as well as host Artsy Birthday parties on the weekends in our studio. The ideal candidate is positive, outgoing, enjoys working with kids and and wants to have fun while at work!!

Here’s what you need to know about this position:

• Experience working with children in some capacity is required.
• Teaching experience and classroom management experience is a plus, but is not required. However those skills will be necessary for the position, and the candidate will need to excel at these two skills after training.
• No prior art experience is needed.
• Pays an hourly wage.
• Teachers are paid for their training, prep time, set up time, class time, clean up time and for staff meetings.
• Kidcreate Studio will provide the curriculum, and art materials to teach the classes.
• Reliable transportation is a must.
• Our studio is located in San Antonio, north of the Rim shopping center, but we teach in different schools with Northside ISD, Northeast ISD and Judson ISD, and community centers in Schertz and travel to different areas will occur.
• Teachers are portable and travel throughout all of Bexar County to conduct classes.
• This position offers a flexible schedule, with the immediate need being between the hours of 2:00 and 5:00 during our after school classes, there will be the opportunity to pick up additional shifts on the earlier in the day during the week. Must be available to work Saturday and Sundays.
• This is a part-time position offering 5-20 hours a week depending on your availability, with more hours during summer and no school days

Kidcreate Studio San Antonio is a fast-growing, locally owned art studio for kids. We offer weekly classes, camps, workshops and birthday parties in our studio.
