About this role :
This role champions the method and tools used across all engineering and resource centers in Kidde Global Solutions CML businesses. It additionally manages continuous improvement of engineering productivity using tools, processes, analytics, and information. Ideal candidate will have good handle on using software tools to get work done efficiently. Generic knowledge of engineering operations is desired including product development, sustaining and value engineering as well as technology development. Good understanding and experience in project management. Innovative and creative aptitude.

Key Responsibilities :
Lead and Own Methods, Processes, Standard Works, Trainings and Policy creation, updates, implementation and adaptation in Engineering and PMO operations.
Create and maintain data analytics and productivity tools such as dashboards, reports, repositories, data analytics, lessons learned etc.
Optimize and consolidate suite of 100 software tools (e.g. Jira, PLM, ERP, AutoCAD…) used across global engineering centers.
Manage license base for ~600 engineering employees, update according to changing organization.
Work with procurement to manage and negotiate contracts and renewals with software tool vendors.
Improve and maintain SharePoint site for engineering operations.
Collaborate with other functions to drive cross functional synergy.
Support in modernizing and maintaining MIS (Management Information System) and MOS (Management Operating System) for Engineering organization.
Lead transformation projects as needed.
Basic Qualifications :
BS degree in Electrical, Electronics or Computer Engineering.
1 years of experience in engineering environment, preferably product development and / or project management.
Must be a US Citizen or a Green Card Holder.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience and expertise in one or more of these software tools – MS Project, PowerBI, Power Automate, SharePoint, Atlassian Suite, PPM / ERP / PLM systems.
Expertise in O365 suite.
Experience in Data Analytics.
Ability to learn and adapt to fast paced business and engineering environment.
