General Engineer

Established General Engineering professional. Manages mid-size projects and analyzes data to generate key findings and recommendations. Plans, prioritizes, and manages mid-size engineering projects; prioritizes tasks to ensure that the team's overall resources are used effectively and that project deadlines are met. Synthesizes analyses of data, uses the results to prepare technical reports of findings and recommendations, and communicates key findings to more senior engineers. Conducts engineering processes using standard work, including verification and qualification procedures. Performs general engineering activities that may not be attributed to a defined discipline.

Job Description

Role Responsibilities:

• Design and develop analog and digital circuits for fire alarm products.
• Develop and integrate embedded systems to support product functionality.
• Perform circuit analysis and validation using simulation tools like PSpice.
• Design, build, and debug programmable logic circuits.
• Utilize electrical test equipment (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers) to verify designs.
• Support product certification and listing efforts, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
• Provide sustaining engineering support to improve and maintain existing products.

Minimum Requirements

• 3 years of professional experience with a BS in Electrical Engineering, or 1 years with an MS in Electrical Engineering.
• Strong expertise in analog and digital circuit design.
• Experience with embedded system design and development.
• Proficiency with circuit simulation tools such as PSpice.
