Responsible for preparing forecasts and performing financial modeling to develop and provide reports for functional or operational management. You will partner with leaders in supply/demand, warehousing, and logistics to drive productivity in the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Ownership of budgeting, financial planning, cost and productivity tracking, and general support of business leaders to execute on our shared financial goals.
- Represent North America (US, CAD, MX) in month-end close, forecasting, and budgeting discussions with leadership.
- Generate and analyze monthly reports to support budget management and cost savings initiatives related to Logistics, Warehousing, Material, Tariffs, and APEX deployment.
- Continuous improvement mindset to identify process optimization to drive forecasting accuracy, variance analysis, and month-end close activities.
- Work with accounting/controllership organization support monthly closing activities by providing inputs on accruals.
- Collaborate with accounting staff and contribute to effective cash flow management.
- Support process improvement initiatives related to intercompany billing and intercompany transfer price.
- Partner with controllership and manufacturing facilities to support timely and accurate std cost roll process.
- Drive performance via business partnering with internal and external customers.
- Manage the financial forecasting/budgeting, KPI management, and partner with leaders in Supply / Demand, Warehousing, and logistics to drive productivity in the region.
- Perform financial modeling to develop recommendations for management.
- Provides reports to functional or operational management on financial analysis results and recommendations.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 8 years of experience in finance.
- 3 years of manufacturing experience.
- PC skills include Microsoft Office, PowerBI, JD Edwards ERP, and HFM.
- Communications and interpersonal skills, proven ability to work across all levels and functions Multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Embrace change, re-prioritize workload on demand, and still produce high-quality output.
- Self-direction and organization skills critical to achieve month-end reporting deadlines.
- Possess an inherent sense of urgency.
- Working knowledge of US GAAP and std cost roll process.
