Key Responsibilities:-
Strategic Sourcing:
- Develop and implement global sourcing strategies to support business objectives, ensuring cost optimization / productivity, quality, and risk mitigation.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers to ensure alignment with the company’s strategic goals and compliance requirements.
- Manage key spend categories, including raw material sourcing for factories and DCs
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic suppliers, fostering collaboration and innovation.
- Lead supplier negotiations, including contracts, pricing, and performance metrics.
- Escalate critical items and support discussion with critical vendors
- Identify cost-saving opportunities through strategic sourcing initiatives, process improvements, and supplier partnerships.
- Drive initiatives to improve supply chain sustainability and resilience.
- Partner with key internal stakeholders, including product development, marketing, finance, and operations, to align sourcing strategies with business goals.
- Lead cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of sourcing initiatives.
- Utilize data analytics to monitor spend, supplier performance, and market conditions.
- Prepare and present regular reports to senior leadership on sourcing performance and cost savings.
- Publish dashboard on regular cadence to support operation discussion
- Bachelors’ degree in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration
- 7 years of strategic sourcing experience, preferably in consumer retail.
- Must be a US Citizen or a Green card holder.
- MBA preferred
- Understanding of the corporate and global business environments with supply management
- Strong and effective communication skills
- Demonstrated success in managing global supplier relationships and negotiating complex contracts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in procurement tools and software.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams.
- Ability to adapt to multiple ERP systems

- Implements supply chain strategies.
- Develops supplier selection process, meeting the organization's standards of price, quality, timing, and reliability of supply.
- Negotiates awards contracts within specified spending limits, and develops/approves new qualified sources of supply.
- Manages sourcing strategies, shares best practices, and defines acceptable service levels.
- Manages supplier negotiations, analyzes suppliers' operations, and recommends the lowest cost consistent with quality, reliability, and ability to meet required schedules.
