- Applicant is required to meet all current Illinois DCFS requirements for a Director
Educational Qualifications:
Illinois DCFS Director Qualifications:
- a minimum of an Associate Degree in child development or early childhood education OR 64 semester hours in any discipline with a minimum of 21 hours of college credit in child development, early childhood education or early childhood special education
And one of the following:
- Gateways to Opportunity Level I Illinois Director Credential OR -3 semester hours of college credit in administration, leadership, or management
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the daily care and education of children while engaging in lots of fun activities.
- Assist with the implementation of Kiddie Academy’s Life Essential Curriculum.
- Prepares and implements classroom lesson plans, program, and schedule.
- Adhere to Kiddie Academy’s policy with regards to documenting and implementing daily activities.
- Assist the director as needed with Academy operations.
- Responsible for handling many different obligations from being in the classroom, opening/closing the academy, to answering the telephone.
- Daily planning, management, and supervision of the classroom and children.
- Maintain compliance with Kiddie Academy standards.
- Required to spend 70% of the time in classroom, in ratio.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
