Summary
As an Assistant Teacher at Kiddie Academy, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and developmental needs of young children. Located in a nurturing environment, this position is essential in helping to implement our curriculum and ensuring that each child receives the attention and care they deserve.
Responsibilities
- Assist lead teachers in implementing the Life Essentials curriculum and daily lesson plans.
- Provide a safe, nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.
- Support classroom management and maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
- Engage with children through activities that promote literacy, social skills, and emotional development.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and needs.
- Assist in managing behavior and supporting children with special needs or autism as necessary.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities.
Requirements
- Experience in childcare or early childhood education preferred.
- Strong understanding of literacy education and classroom management techniques.
- Ability to work collaboratively with lead teachers and support staff.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
