As an Education Coordinator at Kiddie Academy, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational experiences of our young learners. This position is essential in implementing our Life Essentials curriculum, along with Spanish, Chess, and STEM programs, and supporting the growth and development of children in our care.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and oversee the implementation of the Life Essentials curriculum across all classrooms, ensuring the successful integration of Spanish, chess, and STEM components
- Support teachers in developing lesson plans that engage students and promote learning, integrating Spanish language skills, strategic thinking through Chess, and STEM-based concepts.
- Conduct regular assessments of educational programs to ensure quality and effectiveness.
- Facilitate training sessions for staff on educational best practices, curriculum updates, and teaching methods for Spanish, Chess, and STEM subjects.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and educational activities.
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance the overall experience for children and families.
- Monitor compliance with state regulations and accreditation standards related to education.
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages creativity, curiosity, and a love of learning through a diverse curriculum.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in education administration or early childhood education is essential.
- Experience or interest in incorporating Spanish, chess, or STEM activities into an early childhood setting is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with parents, staff, and children.
- Demonstrated experience working with students in an educational setting.
