Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Teacher to join our team in fostering a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for young children. The ideal candidate will support the lead teacher in implementing educational programs and engaging students in meaningful activities that promote their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about early childhood education and eager to make a positive impact on children's lives.
Duties
- Assist the lead teacher in planning and executing age-appropriate lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
- Support the development of engaging activities that enhance children's learning experiences in areas such as math, literacy, and creative arts.
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive interactions among students.
- Foster strong relationships with students, encouraging their social skills and emotional growth.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and classroom activities.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.
Experience
- Previous experience working with preschool or early childhood education settings is preferred.
- Strong understanding of child development theories and practices.
- Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively while promoting a positive learning atmosphere.
- Experience in childcare settings is beneficial.
- ILEAD Training Hours preferred

Pay: $16.50 - $17.50 per hour
