Summary
As a Teacher's Aide at Kiddie Academy of Carmel Westfield, you will play an essential role in supporting the educational and developmental needs of young children. Located in a vibrant learning environment, this position is vital to our mission of nurturing children's growth and preparing them for future success.
Responsibilities
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing daily lesson plans and activities.
- Support children’s learning by providing individualized attention and encouragement.
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and engaging classroom environment.
- Facilitate play-based learning experiences that promote social and emotional development.
- Monitor and document children's progress and behavior as directed by the lead teacher.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and activities.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
- Contribute to a positive team atmosphere through collaboration and support.
Qualifications
- Experience working in a classroom or childcare setting, preferably with young children.
- Strong understanding of childhood development principles and practices.
- Familiarity with curriculum development and lesson planning is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with children, parents, and staff.
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for nurturing children's growth are essential.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $16.50 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
