What are the responsibilities and job description for the Floater Teacher position at Kiddie Academy of Clermont?
As a Floater Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in nurturing young minds and preparing children aged 6 weeks to 5 years of age for academic success through our Life Essentials curriculum.
Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe and supportive learning environment that fosters children's social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive educational approach.
- Implement classroom activities either in absence of a teacher or in place of a teacher as needed.
- Maintain a clean and replenished classroom.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and milestones.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.
Qualifications:
- Passion to work with children
- Bilingual English and Spanish Speaking is a plus
- Previous Experience and Classroom management skills are preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
- DCF 45 Hour Training (Preferred)
Hours
- Monday to Friday 9AM-6PM
- Monday to Friday 10:30AM-6PM
