What are the responsibilities and job description for the School Age Summer Camp Leader position at Kiddie Academy of Elkhorn?
We are seeking an enthusiastic School Age Summer Camp Leader to lead the summer camp program for our school aged students. This position is SUMMER only and we work with college schedules! Potential to continue working throughout the school year if you wish. We have daycare/childcare hours in a fun summer camp setting! This is a fun summer job for an elementary school teacher looking for a summer position!
The Camp Leader is responsible for implementing educational and recreational activities for all children enrolled in the Program. In this role, you will work cooperatively with Kiddie Academy of Elkhorn leadership, faculty and parents while maintaining a safe educational environment for children grades K - 5th grade. This is a fun and professional experience for any college students wanting a summer job working with students!

To qualify you MUST have:
Previous experience working with children 5 years and older, required.
Previous experience with summer camp, after school programs, preferred.
Completed high school or a GED program.
Have a love for working with children, especially elementary school students.
The ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and provide empathy in difficult interpersonal situations.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
