What are the responsibilities and job description for the Young Toddler Teacher position at Kiddie Academy of Katy West?
Duties:
- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities and lesson plans for children
- Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Provide behavioral health support and guidance to children
- Collaborate with parents and families to ensure the well-being of each child
- Monitor and assess the development and progress of each child
- Maintain accurate records of each child's attendance, behavior, and progress
- Follow all daycare policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of all children
- Incorporate math concepts into daily activities and lessons
- Utilize behavioral therapy techniques to support children with special needs
- Promote physical education and active play among children
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of early childhood development principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Patience, empathy, and understanding when working with children with diverse backgrounds and abilities
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that promote learning through play
- Organizational skills to maintain accurate records and documentation
- Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and schedules in a daycare setting
Note: A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred but not required. Experience working with children in a daycare or educational setting is highly valued.

Pay: $11.00 - $14.00 per hour
