Positions and Hours: Part Time Assistant Toddler Teacher (2:00pm - 6:30pm) and Full Time Floater (8:30am - 5:30pm or 9:30am - 6:30pm)
Pay Rate: $14-16 per hour (commensurates with experience and education)
Responsibilities:
- Assist Lead Teachers in implementing the Life Essentials curriculum to support children's development.
- Foster a positive and engaging learning environment through effective classroom management techniques.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and execute enriching lesson plans that promote literacy education.
- Engage actively in day-to-day activities within the classroom, ensuring a safe and stimulating atmosphere for all children.
- Build strong relationships with children, families, and staff to create a sense of belonging and care within the academy.
Qualifications:
- CDA or degree in Early Childhood Education (or related field).
- State-mandated 45 hours of DCF training.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- At least 1 year of experience in a licensed childcare facility
