As an Assistant at Kiddie Academy, you will support our educators in delivering high-quality early childhood education to our students. This role is essential in creating a positive learning atmosphere that encourages curiosity and growth.
Responsibilities
- Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans and educational activities.
- Support children’s learning and development through engaging interactions.
- Help maintain a safe and clean classroom environment.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to foster positive relationships.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to educators.
- Assist in behavior management strategies to ensure a supportive learning environment.
- Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
- Experience working with students in an educational setting, preferably in early childhood education.
- Strong understanding of literacy education principles and practices.
- Knowledge of preschool curriculum and developmental milestones.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with children and parents.
- Background in daycare or private school settings is a plus.
- Familiarity with math concepts suitable for young learners is beneficial.
- Experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum is advantageous but not required.
