Job Description:
Kiddie Academy of Stonebridge-McKinney is is seeking a warm, nurturing, and dependable Infant Teacher to join our early childhood education center. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with infants, ensuring a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment that promotes emotional, cognitive, and physical growth.
Candidates must have a CDA and/or an Associate degree in Early Childhood Education, with at least 2 years of experience working specifically with infants. The role requires the ability to lift at least 40 pounds and includes responsibilities such as maintaining daily routines, building trusting relationships with families, and supporting each child’s individual needs. Responsibilities
- Create a nurturing and safe environment for infants, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote early childhood development.
- Monitor and document each child's progress and behavior, providing feedback to parents.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support children with special needs and diverse backgrounds.
- Stay updated on best practices in infant care and early childhood education.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $35,000.00 per year
