Key Responsibilities:
Teaching and Curriculum Implementation:
-Act as a mentor to the children, preparing them for their transition to public school.
-Implement Kiddie Academy's established curriculum to promote holistic development.
-Develop and execute classroom lesson plans, programs, and schedules that inspire a love for learning.
-Maintain compliance with Kiddie Academy policies for documenting and implementing daily activities.
-Ensure the classroom is clean, organized, and provides a safe environment for children.
Student Interaction and Support:
-Supervise and engage with children during all classroom activities.
-Offer guidance and support to children facing social, academic, or adjustment challenges.
-Create and prepare instructional aids and materials to enhance classroom activities.
-Assist children during mealtimes and with clean-up.
Communication and Family Engagement:
-Effectively communicate relevant information to parents regarding their child's progress and daily activities.
-Maintain developmental profiles for each child to track their growth and development.
-Conduct parent-teacher conferences throughout the year to discuss each child's progress.
-Additional Responsibilities:
-Collaborate in planning and executing academy-wide events.
-Meet with prospective families and communicate effectively with potential new customers.
-Meet all additional state requirements for the role.
-Ability to lift no less than 40 pounds when necessary.
Qualifications:
-Strong written and verbal communication skills.
-Proficient classroom management skills.
-CPR and First Aid Certified.
-Associate degree in early childhood education or CDA certification.
-A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a Pre-K setting.
-Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds on a regular basis, and up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis.

Pay: $31,000.00 - $35,250.00 per year
