Qualifications
About this role:
You’ll be responsible for planning and preparing snacks and meals for the children in the Academy and ensuring all health and safety standards are met. You will also use your caring attitude, creative nature and excellent communication and collaboration skills in the classroom. Among your responsibilities will be:
- Planning and preparing snacks and meals according to posted menus
- Performing inventory of Kitchen and maintaining state and local health department standards are met
- Accept temporary work assignments when regularly scheduled personnel are not available.
About you:
- 1 year minimum early childhood education work experience
- 45 Hour Infant Toddler and/or 90 Hour Preschool Certifications preferred
- Must meet all requirements stipulated by the state of Maryland and local regulatory agencies, including a Motor Vehicle Records review.
- Maintain Serv Safe certification
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds on a consistent basis throughout the workday to at least waist high and pass a medical exam/physical
